Pilgrimage Music Festival (@PilgrimageFest) was one of the hottest new festivals of 2015. Their inaugural lineup, one that Rolling Stone called “arguably the best curated of the year,” featured artists like Willie Nelson, Chris Stapleton, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Wilco, Punch Brothers and Band of Horses. We talked with Brandt, Michael and Kevin about the role that New Orleans played in bringing them together, how they select artists for their lineup, and what it’s like to have pre-festival jitters. They also share some favorite moments from Pilgrimage Year One.
