I originally began recording this podcast because I wanted to have conversations with interesting and creative people who call the South their home. I’ve been fortunate enough to visit with some great guests including Maneet Chauhan, Sean Dietrich, Willie Robertson, and Dave Ramsey, and I still enjoy sitting down with creative Southern folks from time to time.
Recently I invited my way-too-smart-and-pretty-for-me wife Kimberly to join me for a few episodes, and we really enjoyed talking about things outside of our “Southern” world. We still love chatting about fun food recipes, family heirlooms, cocktails and travel, but these days we also chew on subjects like the struggles of running a small business, keeping our marriage healthy, the difficulties of raising teenagers, our faith, and more. We laugh a lot, we cry some, but we’re always trying to be real. So pull up a rocking chair, pour yourself a cold drink, and join us as we dive into life from our front porch.
